Academic Security & Counter Exploitation Working Group (ASCE)
[blockquote]The Academic Security and Counter-Exploitation (ASCE) Working Group was established in consultation with federal officials to tap the expertise of universities to help address the threat foreign adversaries pose to U.S. academic institutions. The group initially consisted of universities that conduct classified research on campus and focused on specific procedures and activities to protect information. The group has since expanded both its membership and its focus to deal with broader policy issues related to universities and security concerns.[/blockquote]
